The Care That Makes Karah Stand Out

Support should fit into real life — the busy days, the quiet moments, and everything in between. Karah makes that possible.

Her flexibility is the first thing you'll notice — and it means exactly what it sounds like. She meets you where you are, whether that's a session timed around your baby's nap, a late evening after the kids are down, or a weekend when the week simply got away from you. Support should fit into your life, not the other way around.

That flexibility runs deeper than the calendar, too. Over more than 30 years as a social worker and mental health therapist, Karah has walked alongside individuals, couples, and families through some of life's hardest chapters: trauma, domestic violence, childhood abuse, anxiety, depression, OCD, maternal mental health, Alzheimer's and dementia, infidelity, divorce, and separation. Three decades of that work have given her something you can't train for overnight — a deep, unshakable well of understanding and empathy for whatever you're carrying.

What Your Sessions With Karah Will Feel Like

"My greatest hope is that a session with me feels like you have been truly heard — that your struggles matter, and that there is hope and a path forward."

That's the heart of how Karah works. You won't be rushed, judged, or handed a script. You'll be met.

Does This Sound Like What You're Going Through?

Do you move through life feeling not good enough — or like an outsider in your own family?

Have you carried shame or blame that was never yours to hold? Are you the people-pleaser who tends to everyone's needs but your own? Have you lived through trauma, or found yourself wrestling with the weight of depression, anxiety, or PTSD?

If any of that lands, you're not alone — and you don't have to keep carrying it by yourself.

Karah might be exactly the support you've been looking for.

With over 30 years as a social worker and mental health therapist, she's no stranger to complicated, tangled, human problems. She's trained extensively in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, and a range of mindfulness, grounding, and emotional-regulation techniques — so the approach can be shaped around you, not the reverse.

A Note From Karah

One quote has guided my journey as a therapist and as a human being:

"Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing it is stupid."

In other words: we all carry intrinsic value and worth. My greatest joy is helping you discover your own — the uniqueness that was there all along, waiting to be seen.
