MARSHA Care was created from a simple but powerful observation: many people are carrying far more than anyone can see.

Parents, caregivers, professionals, and families often appear to be coping on the outside while quietly navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship stress, burnout, and overwhelming life transitions.

Too often, they do it alone.

MARSHA Care was built to be a place where people can feel supported, understood, and cared for through those seasons.

The Story Behind MARSHA Care

A practice built on the belief that no one should have to carry hard things alone.

Where It Began

Years of working with individuals and families revealed a common theme.

People did not need more pressure to "push through."

They needed support that felt compassionate, practical, and human.

Many clients were navigating:

  • Pregnancy and postpartum transitions

  • Fertility challenges and loss

  • Trauma and emotional overwhelm

  • Parenting stress

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Anxiety, grief, and identity changes

These experiences shaped the foundation of MARSHA Care and continue to influence the way we support clients today.

The Meaning Behind MARSHA Care

MARSHA Care is more than a new name.

Named in honour of Amber's mother, MARSHA Care reflects the values that have always guided this work: compassion, connection, resilience, and caring for people through life's most challenging seasons.

While the practice continues to grow and evolve, the heart behind it remains the same — creating a space where individuals, couples, and families feel supported, understood, and safe enough to heal.

The story behind MARSHA Care is deeply personal and has shaped the vision for the practice from the very beginning.

This Story Is Still Growing

Today, MARSHA Care continues to grow alongside the people and families we support.

What began as one therapist's vision has become a collaborative practice rooted in the belief that healing happens when people feel seen, supported, and understood.

You do not have to carry hard things alone.
